Arunachal Pradesh: RARI to Organize National Seminar on Medicinal Phytodiversity

RARI Itanagar will organize a national seminar on January 11, focusing on the medicinal values and scientific validation of the Eastern Himalayas' phytodiversity.

Itanagar: The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Itanagar will organize a national seminar on ‘Exploration of Phytodiversity of Medicinal Values of Eastern Himalayas: Focus on Mapping and Scientific Validation’ at DK Convention Hall here on January 11.

Various speakers and experts from the field will deliver lectures during the seminar.

The technical sessions will include: Conservation of rare, endangered & threatened plants of medicinal value of North-east India; Scope of medico-ethno-botanical survey: unexplored areas of trans-Himalayan region; Insights of ethnic dietary practices from plant sources from North-east India; Mapping and documentation of medicinal flora in major forest divisions of Arunachal Pradesh.
