ITANAGAR: In a major step towards bridging the digital divide, the Indian Army, under Operation Sadbhavana, has established a modern computer training lab at Jangda govt upper primary school in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The initiative aims to equip students in this remote village with essential digital skills, integrating computer literacy into their education. As part of the project, the school received six computer sets, two printers, a projector with a screen, a classroom speaker system, and three bookshelves, ensuring a well-rounded learning environment. Addressing the gathering, an Indian Army officer congratulated the school management and urged students to make full use of the facility. He highlighted the role of digital education in empowering youth and aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision. The event was attended by school teacher In-charge Sang Dorjee, gaon burahs, school management committee members, and local villagers, who expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army. They lauded the Army’s commitment not only to national security but also to the education and development of the region.
