The Indian Army organised a "Know Your Army" outreach programme at Sigar Military Station in East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday, bringing together students from two local agricultural institutions for a day of military exposure and career awareness.
The event was conducted by the Spearhead Gunners under the aegis of the Spearhead Division, as part of the Army's ongoing Project Navbharat initiative aimed at strengthening civil-military ties.

Students from the College of Horticulture and Forestry and the College of Agriculture in East Siang district participated in the programme, which drew enthusiastic engagement from attendees throughout the day.
The event featured an extensive display of modern military equipment and indigenous defence technologies, giving students a firsthand look at the Army's operational capabilities and technological readiness.
Participants were also given supervised exposure to small arms firing, designed to demonstrate the discipline, precision, and responsibility that military training demands.
Motivational lectures and audio-visual presentations on career opportunities in the Indian Army were also held under the 'Join Indian Army' segment of the programme.
