ITANAGAR: Kipa Kame has been appointed as the new president of the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] Arunachal Pradesh state unit. Kame officially received his appointment letter earlier today from Afaque Ahmad Khan, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Bihar and JD(U) General Secretary, in the presence of former state party president Ruhi Tagung.
In a letter, JD(U) national president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed Kame to assume office, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the party and serving the public interest in Arunachal Pradesh.
