Suraj Gurung Assumes Office as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bordumsa

Suraj Gurung, APSC, has succeeded his predecessor formally and assumed the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bordumsa (HQ) in Arunachal's Changlang district on Thursday morning.

DIGBOI: Suraj Gurung, APSC, has succeeded his predecessor formally and assumed the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bordumsa (HQ) in Arunachal's Changlang district on Thursday morning. Gurung took over the administrative charge from his predecessor Oling Lego, known for his administrative skills, efficiency, and wisdom.

Suraj Gurung, also known for championing the cause of the farmers during his previous administrative terms at Yachuli, reiterated that the participation of the people in the administration is a pivotal aspect to realise the end. Upon his arrival earlier, Gurung was accorded a warm reception by leaders of various communities of Bordumsa Subdivision with local philanthropic leader and social activist Moulin Agan in the lead.

Addressing the house during the official farewell of his predecessor Oling Lego at Bordumsa today morning, the incumbent ADC assured of taking all the stakeholders into confidence while delivering his responsibilities for the overall growth and prosperity of the subdivision.

Meanwhile, the outgoing official Lego, during his address, recalled his three-year term and said that it was indeed a blessed and enriching one in so many ways. "My assimilation and close involvement with the people in Bordumsa have always been driven by a strong sense of emotion that in turn, helped me to discharge my duty as an administrator. Lego urged the house to continue extending unconditional support and cooperation to the incumbent so that administration and common people together move forward to bring about a holistic development within the jurisdiction.
