KOKRAJHAR: As many as 16 files of select contractors and suppliers of Kokrajhar district and close aides of the former chief of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) were seized by police on Tuesday for investigation.
Sources said the seizure was made based on an FIR lodged by a person of Chirang district. The Secretary of BTC had given details of 16 files of different financial sessions for supply of materials, to the OC of Kokrajhar Police Station for investigation. Most of the files are reportedly of supply of materials worth crores of rupees.
