HOJAI: An eviction drive has been carried out at Hojai's Purana Bazar market. According to reports, around 30 shops were evicted. Around four JCBs were used for the eviction drive in the area. Moreover, locals claimed that the administration failed to show any official document for the eviction so the people created a heated situation against the eviction drive in the area. Hundreds of people took to the streets against the eviction.
