NAGAON: Altogether 9 students from Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) have been selected for the Gandhi Fellowship 2023.
Five of them are from the Department of Social Work while four are from the Department of Sociology. The students who have been selected for the fellowship are Paripurna Gogoi, Krishnamoyee Devi, Bishnu Das, Ritiika J Konwar and Subrata Goswami from the Social Work Department and Janti Mazumdar, Disha Ghosh, Pompi Paul and Parinita Bora from the Department of Sociology.
The fellowship has been awarded since 2008 to inspire young students in India. Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Mridul Hazarika, Registrar Prof. Mrinal Kumar Bora, Director (Finance and Planning) and Chief Coordinator - Babul Bora and the university family congratulated the students on their success.
