JORHAT: A third-year student from the College of Horticulture was knocked down by a school bus leaving her seriously injured at around 3.30 pm on the busy Lichubari Airport Road on Saturday.
She, along with three other students, was returning from the horticulture experimental farm within the AAU premises of the Jorhat campus, said AAU sources. The student was identified as Manihar Talukdar and she was rushed to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. Her condition is stable, said Dr. Nilotpal Bhattacharyya, the PRO of JMCH.
