DEMOW: An alumni meet of Education Department of Moran College was organized in the auditorium of Kareng Bhawan situated in Moran on September 24 and September 25. As per the schedule on September 24, the flag was hoisted jointly by Dr Mitali Konwar, Principal of Moran College and Kalpana Borah, Retired Professor of Education Department of Moran College. The ceremonial lamp was lit by Dr.Rajendra Prasad Borthakur, Vice Principal of Moran College. The Smiti Tarpan was offered jointly by Deben Sonowal, Chief Secretary and Gyananda Chutia, Joint Secretary of the organizing committee of the meet.
