DEMOW: In the 95 No. Demow constituency, the Panchayat election will be held on May 2. After delimitation, the name of 107 No. Thowra constituency has been changed to 95 No. Demow constituency and the area of the constituency has also changed. This will be the first poll after the Demow co-district was formed.
The Demow co-district administration has made all arrangements for the Panchayat election. The leaders of the political parties like BJP, Congress, and Raijor Dal completed campaigning for their candidates in the constituency.
According to information received, 1,71,648 voters will cast their votes in the Panchayat election in 95 No. Demow constituency and there are 291 Polling Stations, 28 Gaon Panchayats, and 2 Anchalik Panchayats. A total of 702 candidates representing various political parties will contest in Demow and a total of 45 Polling Stations will be reserved for women.
