NAGAON: The third phase of the Health Service Festival has begun in Nagaon district from Tuesday. Along with the rest of the state, the Nagaon district administration, also inaugurated the festival at the district library premises. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Gunajit Kashyap, District Development Commissioner, Dr Phani Pathak, Joint Director of Nagaon District Health Services, Dr Mihir Goswami, principal of Nagaon medical college and hospital, and Dr Kavindra Dev Sarma, Superintendent of Nagaon Medical College and Hospital.
As part of the Health Service Festival, the health services of 32 hospitals in Nagaon district were evaluated on the first day. The evaluation process involved external evaluators from various parts of the state, including joint secretaries, directors, and senior officials from the district, including MPs, MLAs, IAS, IPS officers, and doctors.
