Assam: AIRA Dhubri District Committee Formed at Bilasipara Press Club

Dhubri District Committee of All India Reporters’ Association (AIRA) was formed in presence of state-level leaders at the Bilasipara Press Club auditorium.

DHUBRI: Dhubri District Committee of All India Reporters’ Association(AIRA) was formed in  presence of state-level leaders at the Bilasipara Press Club auditorium on Monday. Bappa Sarkar, vice president of AIRA’s Assam State Committee and president of Bilasipara Press Club, presided over the meeting. Pradip Saha was elected as president and Syed Nurul Amin as secretary. A 41-member committee was formed with the presence of over 50 journalists and media professionals from various parts of Dhubri district.  Senior journalists, including Atikur Rahman, executive member of AIRA’s Assam State Committee, Samiran Das, general secretary, Dilip Kumar Nath, secretary, and Sanjay Sharma, joint secretary, were present during the formation. The committee aims to bring together journalists and media professionals from Dhubri district to promote unity, cooperation and welfare of its members. The formation of the committee is expected to strengthen the voice of journalists in the region.
