Assam: Awareness meet on superstition organized in Dikhowmukh College

Dikhowmukh College holds awareness meet on superstition, its harms & scientific thinking, organized by IQAC and Women’s Cell in the digital classroom.

GAURISAGAR: IQAC and Women’s Cell of Dikhowmukh College, Sivasagar jointly organized an awareness meeting on “Superstition and its Negative Impact and Scientific Mindset” at the digital classroom of the college recently. The meeting was inaugurated by  Dr. Ranjit Kumar Baruah, principal of the college. In his speech he narrated the importance and relevance of the meeting. The meeting was anchored by Dr. Ramen Kalita, Assistant Professor of the college and expressed some views on the topics. Dr.Akhil Borah, professor, department of Sociology, Marongi College, Golaghat delivered the lecture on the topic as resource person. Dr. Swapnali Bora, Professor, Assamese Department of Dikhowmukh College, expressed some views on the role of women in eradicating superstitions and also offered a vote of appreciation.
