Assam: BRPL Distributes Free Medicated Nets and Blankets in Forest Villages

BRPL distributed free insecticidal nets and blankets in Rangijhora and Kungkrajhora forest villages to boost malaria prevention efforts.

KOKRAJHAR: In an effort to strengthen malaria prevention and protect vulnerable communities, free long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) and blankets supplied by BRPL were distributed on Tuesday in the forest villages of Rangijhora and Kungkrajhora Ayushmaan Arogya Mandir (AAM) under Ballamguri Block.

The distribution drive was carried out under the leadership of Dr Rejaul Karim, Joint Director of Health Services, Chirang, with the active support of Dr D Ramchiary, District Surveillance Officer and District Malaria Officer i/c. The initiative also saw the involvement of the Vector Borne Disease Consultant, Epidemiologist, District Media Expert, and District Data Manager, who worked in close coordination to ensure the effective delivery of these essential supplies.
