KOKRAJHAR: A meeting of the BTC Executive Council was held on Monday to discuss various key issues for the development and citizen-centric governance.

Chairing the Executive Council meeting of the government of BTR, the CEM Boro laid special emphasize on in-depth discussions and deliberations on several matters. Two draft bills to ensure better citizen-centric governance, namely, “The Bodoland Territorial Council Land and Revenue Regulation (Application and Amendment) Bills, 2024” and ‘The Bodoland Territorial Council Flood Plain Zoning Bill, 2024’ will be introduced. Several important decisions were taken, and key issues relating to the holistic development of citizens were discussed. The BTC government continues to remain committed to their mission of building a peaceful, smart & green BTR.

The two draft bills are likely to be brought during the BTC assembly session to be held on December 12.
