Assam: DHSK College hosts two-day national workshop on AI

DIBRUGARH: A two-day national workshop on ‘Integrating Generative AI, Interactive E-content, and Advanced Technologies in Higher Education’ will be conducted, bringing together educators, researchers, and technology experts to explore the transformative potential of AI-driven innovations in academia by DHSK College on the March 8 and March 9.

The workshop is being organized by the Department of Computer Science in collaboration with IQAC, DHSK College, Dibrugarh, Assam. The resource person for the said workshop is Prof K Srinivas, Head of the ICT & Project Management Unit at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Government of India, Ministry of Education in New Delhi.

The workshop would feature insightful keynote sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and panel discussions on leveraging generative AI for curriculum design, developing interactive digital content, and integrating cutting-edge tools to enhance learning outcomes.

Notably, Dr Sashi Kanta Saikia, Principal DHSK College, emphasized the importance of ethical AI implementation, digital literacy, and faculty training to bridge the gap between traditional pedagogy and emerging technological advancements. He anticipates the participation of all to make this event a success.
