Assam: Dialysis centre inaugurated at Biswanath District Hospital

Making a new addition to the health sector in Biswanath, a dialysis centre at Biswanath District Hospital, was inaugurated by Biswanath MLA Pramod Borthakur.

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Making a new addition to the health sector in Biswanath, a dialysis centre at Biswanath District Hospital got functional today. The dialysis center was inaugurated by Biswanath MLA Pramod Borthakur today.

The patients will now be able to undergo dialysis at the center with the assistance of Apollo Hospitals under Prime Minister’s Dialysis Programme without going to Gohpur or Tezpur. The centre has a dialysis facility for six patients daily. Additional District Commissioner (Health) Asim Borgohain, Joint Director of District Health Department Dr Jogen Chandra Bey, Superintendent of the hospital Dr Jonali Gogoi, Health Officer Dr Eliza Deka, and others were present at the inauguration ceremony.
