DIBRUGARH: A meeting of the district election officials with representatives of national and state-recognized political parties was held at the District Commissioner’s Office in Dibrugarh today. The meeting was chaired by District Commissioner Bikram Kairi and focused on key election-related matters.
Discussions included the appointment of block-level agents by political parties for 1,244 polling stations across six assembly constituencies in Dibrugarh district. Various issues related to the amendment of the voter list, polling station arrangements, and other election-related concerns were also addressed.
The District Commissioner emphasized the timely resolution of matters such as voter list revisions, polling station adjustments, and necessary repairs. Election Officer Pranjil Gogoi, along with representatives of national and state-recognized political parties, attended the meeting.
