JAMUGURIHAT: A fire broke out at Adarsh Vidyalaya located in Madhupur, Jamugurihat at around 2pm on Monday. Two temporary classrooms of the school were burnt down. The fire broke out in the two classrooms and destroyed more than 20 new desks and benches and other items. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained but it is suspected that it was caused by an electrical short circuit. The loss is estimated to be worth three lakh rupees, informed the school authority.
