KOKRAJHAR: Former BTC EM and present MCLA from Jomduar constituency Reo Reoa Narzihary tendered his resignation from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today citing his physical, spiritual and financial hardships.
In his resignation letter to the President of the BJP, Kokrajhar District Committee, Narzihary said that he tendered his resignation from the primary membership of Kokrajhar District BJP after going through much contemplation due to personal constraints like physical, spiritual, and financial hardships. He said that it got increasingly difficult to continue fulfilling his responsibilities as a member of the party and that although he didn’t have any formal position of responsibility since joining the party in 2020, the experience has been invaluable, and he always strived to contribute positively in the capacity he had. Narzihary extended his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, whose vision and leadership not only inspired him, he said, but also gave him the opportunity to serve the people of the Bodoland Territorial Region. He also said that his guidance left an indelible mark on his journey, and that he will remain deeply respectful of his leadership.
Narzihary hoped that his decision would be understood by the party and said that he will continue to support the UPPL-led coalition government in BTC from inside and outside of the BTCLA.
