Assam: Haflong Hosts 4th Session of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council

HAFLONG: The 4th (249th) session of the 13th North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), Haflong, was held at the NC Hills Autonomous Council Assembly Hall on Wednesday.  Mohet Hojai, chairman of the council, summoned the session of the Thirteenth N.C. Hills Autonomous Council under the provision of Rule 36 (1) of the Assam Autonomous Districts (Constitution of District Councils) Rules, 1951 (as amended) for the discussion of the next budget session of the 13th (Thirteenth) North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC), Haflong, to be placed after the announcements of the state’s budget.
