KOKRAJHAR: To ensure smooth traffic movement and maintain public order during the Common Written Test (CWT), 2025 scheduled for January 5 under the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), the District Magistrate of Kokrajhar, Masanda M. Pertin, has issued a prohibitory order under section 163 BNSS.
The order said a large number of candidates were expected to travel to and within Kokrajhar district for the examination, which could lead to significant congestion and potential disruptions. In light of this, the District Magistrate has ordered the closure of all daily markets and weekly haat bazaars across Kokrajhar town on January 5.
This prohibitory order has been issued on an ex-parte basis, given the urgency of maintaining peace and tranquillity during this critical period and to prevent any probable breach of peace or disruption to the examination process. Any individuals or parties who may be aggrieved by this order can apply to the District Magistrate for a review, alteration, modification, or exemption at any stage.
