KOKRAJHAR: President of ABSU Dipen Boro and Chairman of the Reception Committee of 57th conference of the ABSU and MLA Lawrence Islary today appealed to the people to come and attend the historic session to be held at Bodofa Fwthar, Dotma in Kokrajhar district from March 13 to 16. The venue of the conference is ready to receive the delegates and guests from across the state, neighbouring states, and abroad.
As part of the programme, the main gate of the 57th conference would be inaugurated by MLA Jiron Basumatary while the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Memorial Stage and main pandal would be inaugurated by Minister UG Brahma. Inauguration of Bir Chilagang Basumatary Memorial Delegate Hall and Camp would be done by MLA and Chairman of Reception Committee Lawrence Islary while Late Rudhir Shankar Basumatary Memorial Guest House would be inaugurated by BTC EM Ukhil Mushahary followed by inauguration of Martyr Bagrangsu Mushahary Memorial Exhibition-cum-Book Fair by EM Ranjit Basumatary and inauguration of Dotma Horticultural Show and Competition by Jyatirindra Brahma, Chairman of Dotma TCLCC.
Inauguration of Late Budlab Chou Brahma Memnorial Market would be done by Tapendra Basumatary, Headmaster, Banargaon High School, and inauguration of Late Bijay (Gorom) Narzary Memorial Dining Hall would be done by Chilarai Mushahary, Principal, Bodofa UN Brahma College, Dotma, while inauguration of Late Abinash (Tiger) Mushahary Memorial Volunteer Camp would be done by Bitharai Brahma, Principal of Janata College, Serfanguri. Late Sujula Brahma Memorial Volunteer Camp and Late Danswrang Narzary (Dinanath) Memorial Health Centre would be inaugurated by Dr Anil Kr Mohilary, Sub Divisional Medical and Health Officer (SDMNHO) Dotma.
Meanwhile, Martyr Tublao Brahma Memorial Playground would be inaugurated by Jashamanik Brahma, DPO, Kokrajhar and Late Narad Chandra Brahma Memorial Cultural State (Exhibition) would be inaugurated by Rahendra Nath Brahma, Awardee, Pratima Barua Pande award while inauguration of Jwhwlao Swmbla Basumatary Volleyball Competition would be done by Daobaisa Boro, EM, Sports, BTR, followed by inauguration of Martyr Gaide-Helena Kabaddi Competition by Saraswati Basumatary, National Kabaddi Player.
