SIVASAGAR: On the occasion of Lok Kalyan Diwas-2026, observed on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Gopinath Bordoloi, Sivasagar district administration organised Lok Sewa Award presentation ceremony at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the District Commissioner's Office on Wednesday evening.
The programme was chaired by District Development Commissioner Pabitra Kumar Das. During the ceremony, three government employees of Sivasagar district were honoured by the Assam Government for their exemplary efficiency, dedication, and commitment to public service.
The awardees were Nitya Dutta, Senior District Administrative Assistant in the Office of the District Commissioner, Ashim Jyoti Khound, Stenographer in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, and Namita Kathar, Senior Assistant in the Office of the Executive Engineer, Public Works (Building) Department.
