Assam: Meritorious Students Felicitated at Mohuramukh Jatiya Bidyloi

A felicitation ceremony was held on Saturday at Mohuramukh Jatiya Bidyloi to honour meritorious students.

BOKAKHAT: A felicitation ceremony was held on Saturday at Mohuramukh Jatiya Bidyloi to honour meritorious students. Conducted by retired principal Mahen Saikia, the special felicitation programme took place in the presence of artiste Mohini Rajkumari Kshetra, celebrating the students who passed the 2024–25 High School Leaving Certificate Examination with distinction. Senior Teacher Jiten Dutta of the school explained the purpose of the event. Renowned retired headmaster Indreshwar Baruah, who has guided three generations, arranged for awards to inspire students toward academic excellence. The ceremony began with a poetry recitation by students of Class 10.

Eight students who appeared for the examination were each presented with traditional gamochas and a bundle of books. Among those who passed in the first division with letter marks, Ananya Duwara, Gaurav Hazarika, and Panju Morang were given gamochas, certificates of appreciation, a bundle of books, and cash awards.

Distinguished guests at the event included retired teacher and children’s friend Maheshwar Saikia, founder of Bokakhat National School Amar Kakati, President of the Prayas Study Circle Nijora Barthakur, retired teacher and pillar of Mohuramukh Jatiya Bidyaloi Indreshwar Baruah, and General Secretary of the Prayas Study Circle Soneswar Norah.
