Meanwhile, earlier last week, the Advantage Assam 2.0 programme was held at the Sarat Chandra Singha College of Agriculture in Chapor, Dhubri District, on Friday.

The programme aimed to promote investment and infrastructure development in Assam. It was attended by Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Tourism, etc., and Dibakar Nath, District Commissioner of Dhubri.

Dass emphasized the importance of self-reliance and encouraged entrepreneurs to produce local products to reduce dependence on other countries.

Nath highlighted the opportunities for investment in Assam, particularly in the food and beverage, tourism, and infrastructure sectors. He also mentioned the state government’s policies, such as the Assam Start-Up and Ethanol Policies, which were designed to promote entrepreneurship and business growth.

The programme included a workshop on emerging business trends, opportunities, and challenges. It also featured a presentation on Advantage Assam 2.0, which served as a platform for investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to connect and explore opportunities for growth and development.
