Assam: Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani Arrives In Guwahati For Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit

Industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have arrived in Assam for the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit. Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika welcomed Ambani at Guwahati Airport.

GUWAHATI: Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has arrived in Guwahati to attend the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit, the largest investment and infrastructure summit in Northeast India.

Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika personally welcomed Mukesh Ambani at the Guwahati Airport, extending a warm reception to the business tycoon. Sharing the moment on social media, Hazarika expressed optimism that Ambani’s visit is expected to bring in new opportunities and possibilities for Assam and its youth.

Gautam Adani has also reached Assam to participate in the high-profile event. The Advantage Assam 2.0 summit aims to attract major investments, boost economic development, and position Assam as a key business hub in the region.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugrated the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit 2025 today. This event aims to attract investment, develop infrastructure, and promote Assam as a key economic center in Northeast India.

The Prime Minister arrived in Assam a day earlier and visited exhibitions showcasing a wide range of investment opportunities in the state. His presence underscores the Centre’s commitment to accelerating economic growth in the region.

Several Union Ministers will attend the summit, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Ports and Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita is also among the distinguished dignitaries. Additionally, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will join virtually to discuss the government's infrastructure plans for Assam.
