Assam: Nazira Shows Solidarity with Army Through Blood Donation Camp

SIVASAGAR: In a significant move, a blood donation camp was organized today in Nazira to support Indian Army soldiers, led by the initiative of several voluntary organizations. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation as hundreds of people came forward to donate blood for the noble cause.

The camp was formally inaugurated by Satya Ranjan Bora, President of the Kutumba Security Council. Speaking at the event, he expressed gratitude towards the donors and emphasized the importance of standing with the armed forces in every possible way.

Organizers stated that such initiatives will continue in the future to strengthen the bond between civilians and the armed forces.

Earlier, the Golaghat District Students’ Union and Golaghat Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital’s Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp at the District Students’ Union’s headquarters, Shahid Bhawan, on April 10. The camp was held from 11 AM to 3 PM. Dr. Rahul Lahon and Blood Bank Consultant Biju Borah were present at the camp.

Assam Unnati Sabha Vice-President Debajit Borah participated in the blood donation camp, which was initiated by Golaghat AASU President Mintu Gogoi and General Secretary Chiranjib Borah.

The camp saw enthusiastic participation from student activists across the district. The event aimed to collect blood units for medical purposes.
