Assam: Numaligarh HS School Honours APSC Cracker Samim Sultana Begum

Numaligarh rejoices as former student of Numaligarh Higher Secondary School, Samim Sultana Begum clears Assam Public Service Commission exam, and been selected for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector.

NUMALIGARH: The residents of Numaligarh are overjoyed with the success of Samim Sultana Begum, a former student of Numaligarh Higher Secondary School, who has cleared the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) exam and been selected for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) in the Transport Department. A felicitation ceremony was organized at Numaligarh Higher Secondary School today, where Begum was honoured with a citation, gifts, and a collection of books.

Begum’s mother, who is a daily wage earner, has been instrumental in supporting her daughter’s education. Despite financial constraints, Begum has not only cleared the APSC exam but is also working as a teacher in a government technical institution.

 Principal Mohen Saikia delivered the welcome speech at the felicitation ceremony, which was moderated by Teacher Sanjib Sarma. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr Devajit Baruah, a subject teacher from Dergaon Higher Secondary School, and Sangita Saikia Rabha, the President of the school’s management committee.
