Assam: Piramal Foundation and Umrangso CHC Set Up Free Health Camp at 10th Falcon Festival

Piramal Foundation, in collaboration with Umrangso Community Health Centre set up a medical investigation and treatment stall at the 10th Edition of the Falcon Festival held at Umrangso.

Haflong: Piramal Foundation, in collaboration with Umrangso Community Health Centre set up a medical investigation and treatment stall at the 10th Edition of the Falcon Festival held at Umrangso. The festival was held from December 13 to December 15 at the beautiful Golf Course, Umrangso.

The aim of collaborated health camp was to promote health awareness and provide free health check-ups to festival attendees.

Dr. N.K. Bailung, SDM&HO of Umrangso CHC, along with Program Manager Phulnunhoi Kipgen, Program Leader Jintamani Sarania, Manas Kumar, Gandhi Fellows Soumya Mukherjee and Rupak Das, and Karuna fellows Albina Johori, Birta Engtipi, and Jesie Nampui were present at the stall.

The foundation provided free health check-ups, including BP, RBS, hemoglobin, and weight. They also provided with health awareness and referred patients to the nearest health centre, Umrangso CHC, for further treatment.

This collaboration signified a commitment to the holistic development of the people of Dima Hasao. Both plan to continue working together to support the community’s health and well-being in the future.
