TANGLA: In an effort to enhance the physical and mental well-being of students, teachers, parents, and the wider community and in a first of its kind in state, North East Public School of Rowta in Udalguri district installed a preventive health kiosk machine recently, which can conduct several health tests for the children studying in the school.
“The Prophylaxis kiosk machine facility will conduct tests for all the students so that any health issues can be identified and diagnosed, which will also increase the studying ability of the children.” said Principal of the institute, Mr. John VK. He further stated that early detection of health issues of students will allow schools and families to take proactive measures.
The Chairman of the North East Public school Rowta, Dr Maheswar Brahma said, “As part of the school’s commitment to preventive healthcare and aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of ensuring healthcare for all, the kiosk Prophylaxis, an integrated smart diagnostic tool has been installed in the school which is an effort by Tech Avant-Garde (TAG), Carte Blanche Registered Schools, and Fischer Medical Ventures and Project Carte Blanche.
He further asserted that with this Prophylaxis kiosk, blood pressure, sugar, temperature, cough, and many other health issues can be detected and prevented. It offers a comprehensive solution for monitoring and enhancing physical well-being, screenings for vision, hearing, dental, and general health and mental health assessments among others. CEO, Tech Avant-Garde,Ali Sait, said, “We are dedicated to transforming education through innovative health initiatives. The Prophylaxis Preventive Health Program is a commitment to bring in a holistic change in the overall well-being of students in particular and the community at large.”
