SIVASAGAR: The Indian Patriotic Federation Socialist (IPFS) and the All Assam Socialist Democratic Gana Swaraj Party observed Shaheed Diwas in Sivasagar on Sunday, commemorating the supreme sacrifice of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar in 1931. The event took place at Amolapatty in Sivasagar, where candles were lit in tribute to the martyrs. The programme was attended by IPFS State Chief Coordinator and senior journalist Pranjal Rajguru, along with several prominent senior citizens of the town. This solemn observance aimed to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the three revolutionaries who played a crucial role in India’s struggle for independence, said Rajguru.
