Assam: Sivasagar district tops state in HSLC examinations

Sivasagar district has emerged as the top-performing district in Assam in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results.

SIVASAGAR: In a proud moment for the education sector, Sivasagar district has emerged as the top-performing district in Assam in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results declared today. The district has achieved an outstanding pass percentage of 85.55%, placing it at the forefront of academic performance across the state.

A total of 8,371 students from Sivasagar district appeared for the HSLC examination this year. Out of them, 2,918 students secured First Division, 3,093 students passed with Second Division, and 790 students achieved third division.

This remarkable success is a testament to the dedicated efforts of students, commitment of teachers, and the continuous support from parents and the Sivasagar District Administration, commented Devajyoti Gogoi, Inspector of Schools, Sivasagar district, while expressing pride in this achievement. Gogoi vowed to continue working towards maintaining and improving academic standards in the district.
