TEZPUR: Parakram Diwas, observed annually on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, AFS Tezpur, in Sonitpur district. The event was organized under the directives of the KVS Regional Office, Guwahati, aligning with the ongoing Pariksha Pe Charcha programme and the Government of India's initiative to mark the occasion on a grand scale across all districts.
The celebration commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a speech by the principal, who highlighted the inspiring life and contributions of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Emphasizing his patriotism, courage, and leadership, the principal urged students to draw inspiration from Netaji's life and apply his values in their own lives.
A total of 100 students from PM SHRI KV No. 1 Tezpur, Army Public School, Air Force School, PM SHRI JNV Biswanath, Hindustani Kendriya Vidyalaya, PM SHRI KV Missamari, KV Rangapara, KV CUT Tezpur, PM SHRI KV LOKRA, and PM SHRI KV No. 2 AFS TEZPUR participated in the event. Educational videos showcasing the life, achievements, and ideologies of various freedom fighters were shown to the students, offering them a deeper understanding of their pivotal role in India's freedom struggle.
