This initiative, known as the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, is set to commence today and aims to invigorate the rural economy by providing essential financial support to aspiring female business owners.

The programme aims to empower women to get into various sectors of entrepreneurship to make them self-sufficient and financially independent. The government stressed that it is not a mere slogan, but is a direction towards the mission of gender equality and women empowerment in the region.
