Chandra Prabha Mahanta (Bhanu) passed away at her residence today. She was 74. She got superannuation from Morigaon M.V. school as a head teacher. She was the daughters of former head teacher of Morigaon M.V. School late Upendra Nath Mahanta . A cast pall of gloom situation prevailed over her death in entire district. She left behind her husband Putul Bhuyan ,son Sanjiban Bhuyan( Engineer) , daughter Barsa Bhuyan.
