Assam: Woman brunt to ashes in Rangia

In a tragic incident, a housewife was burnt to ashes at Rangia Tatarkuchi village under Rangia police station in Kamrup district at the wee hours when a terrible fire broke out at the house.

Rangia: In a tragic incident, a  housewife was  burnt to ashes at Rangia Tatarkuchi village under Rangia police station in Kamrup district at the wee hours when a terrible fire broke out at the house of one Moina Nath (20). The victim was  a mother of two children. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The fire destroyed all the property of the house. The fire fighter from Rangia rushed to the spot after being informed and extinguished the fire. But the woman was completely burnt down.  The fire also destroyed gold jewellery, silver and cash including all the belongings of the poor family. It is alleged that the devastating fire broke out due to gas cylinder explosion.
