Assam: World Water Day observed in Baksa and Tamulpur Districts

With the rest of the state, Baksa and Tamulpur Districts also observed the World Water Day through various activities at community and school level.

GORESWAR: With the rest of the state, Baksa and Tamulpur Districts also observed the World Water Day through various activities at community and school level alike every year by the Public Health Engineering Department on March 22.

Saveral activities were carried out as awareness programme, Poster making competition, Water testing demonstration by FTK and Prize distribution ceremony during the day at Tamulpur college in Tamulpur district and Barama PWSS conference hall and Nikashi Modern English Higher Secondary in Baksa district.

Gitika Muchahary, IEC District coordinator (JJM), Mispi Narzary, Technical Officer of JJM, Santi Ram Rabha , CWC, Dipti Dahal and Manika Basumatary of Tamulpur Sub Division Laboratory ( PHED) were present along with teachers and students in the programmes.
