Assam: Youth BPF and BSU Leaders Join UPPL in Kokrajhar

In another jolt, as many as 9 leaders of youth BPF & BSU of Gossaigaon district committee & Saraibil block committee including VCDC chairman & leaders of primary committees has quit BPF & joined UPPL

KOKRAJHAR: In another jolt, as many as nine leaders of youth BPF and Bodoland Students’ Union (BSU) of Gossaigaon district committee and Saraibil block committee including VCDC chairman and leaders of primary committees of the party has quit BPF and joined UPPL at the residence of BTC chief and president of UPPL Pramod Boro in Kokrajhar on Saturday evening. Boro welcomed and felicitated the new youth members with aronai and party skirf along with his party leaders.

The new members who joined the UPPL include- Bimal Mushahary (Pantao), former commanding in-charge of Gossaigaon district youth committee of the BPF and organizing secretary Proban Mushahary. Along with them, Sunil Borgoyary, former organizing secretary of Saraibil Block Committee of BPF, Benjamin Basumatary, former Literary Secretary, Saraibil Block BSU, Bisaram Basumatary, former organizing secretary, Saraibil Block Committee, Chanchal Basumatary, former vice president of Dhawliguri primary committee, BPF, Ananjay Mushahary, primary leader,  Adoni Hazowary, primary leader and Kanaj Narjary, former VCDC chairman also joined the party.

Felicitating the new members, UPPL president and CEM of BTC Pramod Boro said their decision reflected the growing trust in their vision for a peaceful, progressive and developed Bodoland. He assured them to work together towards a better future for BTR.

 The joining programme was also attended by EM and youth wing president of the UPPL Dr. Nilut Swargiary,  general secretary of the central committee, UPPL Raju Kr Narzary and political advisor and Nominated Member of BTC Madhav Chandra Chetri.
