GOLAGHAT: Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has experienced an increase in visitors over the last two months. 81,068 people visited the park in October and November, demonstrating the sanctuary's growing popularity among both local and foreign visitors. 3,425 of these visitors came from abroad.

This has resulted in substantial revenue, as the park has earned Rs. 1,46,60,085 in this time frame. Between October and November, the number of visitors rose from 29,579 to 51,489, indicating a significant rise in footfall.

This is partly because of the introduction of Elephant safaris which have become a great highlight for the tourists visiting there. Many have been thrilled by sightings of diverse wildlife, especially the famous one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, and elephants. Kohora range stood out as the prime spot for tiger sightings, thereby enhancing the appeal of the park.

The migratory birds arrived on November 13, which added another charm to the park. These birds, which beautify the wetlands of the park, are going to be a spectacular view to behold, which is going to attract people all throughout the month of December.

This rise in tourism highlights Kaziranga's significance in supporting wildlife conservation and boosting local income in addition to its international reputation. As a result, the park continues to represent nature enthusiasts and serve as a testament to the area's natural splendor.
