GOLAGHAT: All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU) of Golaghat district unit bunt effigy of Congress MLA A K Rasid Alam on Saturday for insulting senior journalist Rajdeep Bailung in a television show.
The organization burns an effigy in protest against Congress MLA A.K. Rashid Alam. A case has been filed against A.K. Rashid Alam at Golaghat police station by the Tai Ahom Students' Union.
Senior journalist Rajdeep Bylung has been subjected to public humiliation and rude behaviour, leading to a strong protest by burning effigies. The organization condemns the act of publicly humiliating a journalist and demands public apology from MLA A.K. Rashid Alam.
