JAMUGURIHAT: An awareness drive on COVID-19 was organized at Jamgurihat recently. The 12th Battalion of the NDRF, in association with Sristi, a local NGO, had conducted an awareness drive to make people aware about the deadly infection and its consequences. The members of NDRF and Sristi briefed about the measures and precautions that should be taken to prevent COVID infection and distributed face masks. The awareness programme was also attended by Akashdeep Kakaty, Circle Officer of Naduar Revenue Circle, Manish Choudhury, inspector of the 12th Battalion of the NDRF, along with others.
