Bangali Parishad Assam Donates Rs 60,500 to CM’s Relief Fund for Flood-Affected People

The Dima Hasao District Committee of Bangali Parishad Assam on Thursday donated Rs 60,500 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support people affected by the devastating floods in different parts of Assam.

HAFLONG: The Dima Hasao District Committee of Bangali Parishad Assam on Thursday donated Rs 60,500 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support people affected by the devastating floods in different parts of Assam.

The amount was formally handed over to the District Commissioner of Dima Hasao, Gayatri Devidas Hyalinge, who received the contribution on behalf of the relief fund.

Following the donation, members of the Bangali Parishad Assam held an interaction with the district commissioner. Hyalinge appreciated the gesture of the organisation and lauded the committee for extending solidarity and support to flood-affected people across the state.

During the interaction, several important issues concerning the welfare and development of Dima Hasao were also discussed.
