BARPETA: APGCL director, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Barpeta president, former professor of Barnagar College, founder president of Barnagar Press Club, former journalist and social worker of Barpeta, Shankar Ch Das passed away on Wednesday at the age of 73.
He was detected COVID positive and admitted at FAAMCH on May 17. He was under treatment and later tested COVID negative. But for post-COVID complications he was admitted at a private hospital in Guwahati on May 28. His health deteriorated and he passes way on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta, Tej Prasad Bhushal has condoled his demise.
