SILCHAR: The District Commandant of Home Guards, Cachar, has announced the schedule for the Home Guard Volunteers Assessment Board. The assessment will take place on the specified dates and venues as detailed in the official notice. All concerned Home Guard volunteers are instructed to appear before the selection committee with their original documents for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Efficiency Test. Volunteers must bring the original Home Guard Volunteer certificates , PAN Card, Aadhaar Card (optional), Character Certificate for verification.
The District Commandant emphasized that offices of the Urban Wing Home Guards in Hailakandi and Karimganj will not be responsible for any delays or late submissions of forms. Volunteers are also cautioned against indulging in misleading information or malpractices that could compromise the fairness of the assessment process. Furthermore, no Travel Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance (DA), or accommodation facilities will be provided to the volunteers appearing before the board. The District Commandant reiterated the importance of adhering to the guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent assessment process, stated a press release.
