Caught on camera: Government employee steals cash from store in Pathsala

A government employee working in the (FAAMCH), Barpeta, and a resident of Barpeta stole cash Rs 4,000 from a cloth store named ‘Paridhan’ in Pathsala.

PATHSALA: A government employee working in the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta, and a resident of Barpeta stole cash Rs 4,000 from a cloth store named ‘Paridhan’ in Pathsala. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the store.

The owner of Paridhan cloth store said he came to know about the incident on Wednesday and immediately informed the Bazaar committee. He added that the accused did not take away anything except cash from the store.
