CBC Dibrugarh Organizes Cleanliness and Plantation Drive Under “Swachhata Hi Sewa” Initiative

The Central Bureau of Communication, Dibrugarh, organized a cleanliness drive with Doordarshan Kendra under the "Swachhata Hi Sewa" initiative.

DIBRUGARH: Field Office, Dibrugarh under Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, organized a cleanliness drive in association with Doordarshan Kendra, Dibrugarh under the “Swachhata Hi Sewa” initiative on Monday.

A meeting was organized inside Doordarshan Kendra campus, where emphasis was given on the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The officials also shared their experiences on Swachhata and how cleanliness impacts our life and health. A cleanliness drive was also undertaken inside Doordarshan Kendra campus, Dibrugarh. While deliberating on the importance of cleanliness, ways in which it can help enhance efficiency and effectiveness in office was also emphasized.

Further, a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative was also undertaken inside the campus. Planting a tree not only enhances vegetation cover but also shows our gratitude and devotion towards Mother Earth and love for our country.

It will also help in saving our environment and make our planet greener. Both mother and nature are the foundations of our lives and planting a tree fulfills our responsibilities towards both of them.

Field Office, Dibrugarh organizes awareness programmes on various government schemes and initiatives. The programme was part of that initiative.
