TEZPUR, Sept 5: Following input provided by Gajraj military intelligence, Tezpur police launched an operation under OC Salonibari and arrested a person with fake gold biscuits in Solmara village, Tezpur on Monday.
The arrested person has been identified as Habib ur Rahman, son of Md Mofiz Uddin of Bhaluk Jharani, Salonibari in the Sonitpur district. Police seized 215 gm of fake gold biscuits and a mobile phone from his possession. An FIR has been lodged against Rahman and he is being interrogated at the Salonibari PS.
