PATHSALA: Like yesteryears, the educational hub, Pathsala town, in lower Assam's Bajali district, once again shone with the brilliant performance of the result. Altogether four students managed to get ranks among the top ten rank holders of the State in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2022. All the jubilant students, staff and teachers celebrated their success. Riya Saikia and Saptarikhi Kalita secured ranks from Krishna Kanta Handique Jr. College, Pathsala.
Riya secured 8th position in Arts stream, who hails from Patacharkuchi and is the daughter of Nirmal Saikia and Anamika Das. "I want to study in Delhi University to be an administrative officer in future," she said. Saptarikhi Kalita secured 9th position in Science stream. She hails from Tihu and is the son of Gopinath Kalita and Pulama Kalita. He wants to be an administrative officer to work for society.
Meanwhile, Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass, Bajali DC Cauvery B Sarma and AASU, AJYCP along with NGO Jan Briddhi felicitated them in the institution.
On the other hand, Madhusmita Bezbaruah and Bishal Bikash Baishya secured ranks from Anandaram Baruah Academy of Pathsala. Madhusmita Bezbaruah secured 5th position in Arts stream. She is the daughter of Krishna Kanta Bezbaruah and Leena Das Bezbaruah of Sualkuchi in Kamrup District.
Madhusmita said, "Regular study thoughout the year was the key of my success. I want to be an English professor or an administrative officer." She said. Bishal Bikash Baishya secured 7th position. He is the son of Pradip and Jonali Baishya of Sondha in Nalbari district. Various organisations like AASU, AJYCP felicitated them with gamosa and japi.
